Privacy

Last updated 2 August 2026

This page covers wwfcheatapp.com, the website. The app is a separate thing with its own policy, published at pixelworkssoftware.com/privacy, and the stores list what it collects on its listing pages.

Your boards are not uploaded

Recognition and the word search both run on your device. The screenshots you scan stay on your phone — they are not sent to us, not stored on a server and not visible to anyone but you. There is no account to create.

That is a statement about your boards specifically. The app itself is free and supported by advertising, so — like most free apps — it does include an advertising and analytics SDK, and those have their own data practices. The app’s policy is the place that describes them.

What this website collects

This site uses Google Analytics 4, which loads when you open a page and sets cookies in your browser. We have configured it to collect as little as it usefully can: Google Signals is switched off and ad personalisation is switched off, so nothing collected here is used to build an advertising profile of you. We never receive your IP address — Google uses it to derive an approximate location and does not store it.

Google Analytics 4 records:

  • which pages you viewed and in what order;
  • approximate location, derived from a truncated IP address — we never receive the full address;
  • device type, browser and screen size;
  • which App Store or Google Play button you pressed, and from which section of the page.

We use this to understand which parts of the site help people find the app. It is never combined with anything that identifies you personally.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes request logs — including IP addresses — to serve pages and protect against abuse. We also use Vercel’s analytics, which is cookieless and does not track visitors across sites.

Your choices

You can opt out of Google Analytics entirely with Google’s official opt-out add-on, which works across every site that uses it. Blocking cookies for this site, or using any common content blocker, also stops it. Nothing here needs analytics to work.

Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold, and may complain to your national data protection authority.

Who to contact

Pixel Works Software SRL is the data controller. Write to office@pixelworkssoftware.com and a person will answer.
